Teaching Reading & Writing Through Journalism (Grade 6)

A curriculum designed to give young people opportunities to earn official bylines in leading news/cultural publications, build a professional writing portfolio before graduating high school (let alone college), and boost their confidence as they find their voice. This course teaches reading and writing from a practical perspective, related to jobs in mass communications and media.
